ADULT: Beginner Mixed Media / Nov.-Dec.

Lab Description

In this 6-week studio workshop, you will be exposed to a wide variety of materials and mixed media techniques. We will experiment with acrylic paint, oil pastels, collages, layering, and adding textures and patterns. Each session will kick-off with 30 minutes of guided instruction to introduce new materials and techniques, followed by 90 minutes of unstructured studio time to play and create (stay the whole time or just as long as you can)! This is a non-judgmental and supportive setting where participants can challenge themselves to respond intuitively to art, unleash their creativity, and ask a lot of questions. Be prepared to play, get messy, and unleash your creativity! - Technique Workshop 10:00am-10:30am - Open Studio 10:30am-12:00pm (stay as long as you like) - All materials provided - Relaxed small group environment - Socializing encouraged!!
